Every world class athlete trains for hours and days so that they can compete at the highest level.  Every warrior endures harsh physical training and engages in simulated exercises to prepare himself for battle.  Wouldn’t you like to be more prepared for the spiritual battle you fight every day?  How about trying a daily spiritual fitness regimen?  As a spiritual warrior in training, you need to be speaking words that  will help you build your faith, knowledge, identify and belief in who you are in Christ and your position of authority and power in God’s Special Forces here on earth.

The words you speak have power in the spiritual realm.  When they are spoken with an earnest faith and heartfelt love for God those words can have a powerful effect on the world around you and in you.  Because the Holy Spirit dwells within you, you are invested with the power of God Himself and with the full authority of Jesus to use it.  So stand up and shout the words out loud with a firm voice!  Get your whole body into it!  March, raise your arms, jump up & down! Clap your hands and declare the truth of God’s word with energy and enthusiasm!  You will be surprised what a difference in your spirit it will make when you put your whole self into the words you are declaring. It will change your outlook; it  will change your mood;  it will change your day!

Daily Declarations

  1.   I am destined to be a mighty, powerful warrior in God’s Special Forces.
“For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
  2.   I know that my battle is spiritual and I fight from my position in and through Christ Jesus.
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
  3.   I know that Jesus reigns in every situation I encounter and that it’s not mine to win.
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
  4. I don’t avoid tough situations.  I courageously march in because the battle is not mine but the Lords!
When the righteous call for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. (Psalm34:17)
Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.  (2 Chronicles 20:15)
  5.  I know that God loves me 100%.  He can’t help but love me!
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  (John 3:16)
  6. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in me.
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.  (Romans 8:11)
  7. I know that my power comes from the Holy Spirit who dwells within me.
And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.  (Acts 4:31)
  8. I know that my position of authority remains and grows as I am in intimate relationship with the Father and obedient to Him.
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.  (John 15:4)
  9.  I know that Jesus was given all authority in heaven and earth and He has given me His authority to do everything he did and more.
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.  (Luke 10:19)
And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases.  (Luke 9:1)
  10.   I am not looking to be rescued.  I know that I already am!
For thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep and will seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness.”  (Ezekiel 34:11-12)

Take some time each day this week to speak these declarations out loud and experience the changes they will bring in your life!
