Immersion Ministry Guidelines

Blessings! Thank you for RSVP’ing to attend Restoring Lives International’s Kingdom Gathering! These are your instructions to receive immersion ministry in our pools:

  1. Anyone with open wounds, sores, stitches or sutures cannot be immersed in the pools. We have prayer cloths we will dip in the water to lay on you for prayer so you can receive. This is a safety issue and thank you for your understanding.
  2. Process flow: If you wish to be immersed, you may request an Immersion Ministry Form when you check in at registration. Immersion groups are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. See additional information below! Any further instructions given on site.
  3. There is no formal ending to the event; we will continue to baptize until we are finished! Attendees are released to leave as soon as you/your group have received ministry/baptism!

Guidelines for being immersed in the pools:

  1. All attendees must bring a large towel to be immersed.
The Floors are slippery and we have a limited rugs. Please bring a towel so you can dry off before going to the changing area. We have no towels provided on site, and if you do not bring a towel we cannot immerse you.  We also recommend shoes you can easily remove – like sandals or flip flops.

Proper attire required. If you plan to be immersed, please arrive wearing your baptismal clothes to save time, and bring dry clothes to change into. We have many to immerse and this will help us keep things moving!
Females: Please do not wear a bathing suit
Males: You can wear cloth shorts or male swim trunks – shirts required
Children in diapers must be wearing a swim diaper to be immersed with their family

Our recommendations: wear dark clothing, long shirt, no jeans please, women should wear
multiple layers!

All Adult Diapers and incontinence products must be removed before entering the
            pools.

2. Dry clothing required to return to the sanctuary. Once you have been immersed you will be directed to the changing area to get into your dry clothes. Once you are wearing dry clothing you can re enter the sanctuary for any additional prayer, to wait for/rejoin your group, or to simply encounter the Lord. Once you have been baptized you are free to leave… there will be no formal closing to the event, you are blessed and released to go once you have received!

Thank you for your understanding as we flow with Holy Spirit and do our best to serve the Body of Christ at this anointed event!
